My Thoughts/Review: This book is crazy! I absolutely loved it. It starts off with Tessa in trouble and she doesn't even know it. She is then assigned a body guard for her protection and when she finds out who it is she is not happy.

At first they stay far away from each other but as time goes on Tessa finds out why she needs to be protected and who wants to hurt her. As she discovers this she finds herself falling in love with the most unlikely person....her body guard and the funny thing is is that he is acting weird to.
Tessa will have to learn how to trust and who to trust. In the end will she find true love? Will she allow herself to open up and be loved? What is she? And the last is why do they want her so bad?

Take a ride on the roller coaster with Tessa and Hayden and Chait.

Hayden is reserved and all about himself but when he is asked to be loyal he decides that it is worth it to help someone else out. While on this journey he too will find out what he is and who he is supposed to be with. Will Hayden be strong enough to stop following his friends? Will he open his heart to the one that he loves? Will he be able to put others needs before his?

Chait oh man what to say about him. He is in love with someone he can't have and he has to come to terms with it. But in the end he gets a perfect gift....

I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn't stomach it by the end. The beginning was amazing! It was funny and I loved Tessa. But I can only take so much low self esteem. By the end it was like listening to someone over weight complain about how they are on a diet and shouldn't eat the double brownie they are shoving down there face. I'm mean come on, Tessa is in high school. Relax already! I hated how she made Hayden walk on egg shells around her for fear she might break up with him. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the first half of the book. Around 70% in, I was finding excuses not to pick up the book. Sorry, this book was not for me.
This was a great book. There is so much to like about this book, starting with the amazing chemistry between Tessa and Hayden. Let's just say that they sizzle. They are feisty and sarcastic with each other, and also sweet and caring. Both Tessa and Hayden were written very well, and because the story was written from their alternating perspective you really feel like you know who they are. Both are strong characters and although Hayden is the `bad boy', you know he really is the `diamond in the rough'. But not only is there a brilliant angst romance storyline, there is also a brilliant paranormal story about witches and an ongoing war, which involved Tessa and Hayden having to pick sides. I don't want to give too much away, but I was constantly wondering, who is the bad guy? I could not pick and that was great. If you like paranormal romance you will love this story. Buy it now.

The biggest problem with this book is - I'm losing sleep. My keeps finding it's way back into my hands. It's as if my brain is afraid I'll miss what happens next! I know..it's a book I can pick up/put down but..well, it's not my fault! Blame the writer!

I'm an avid reader, while also a single mom of 2 and work full time.It's pretty crazy when all I want is to put the kids to bed, sit in my reading chair and read!! I started reading last night and read up to Chapter 16, so I'm not nearly finished. But, I'm enjoying so much I wanted to share.

I love the characters, plot and how it flows - not too slow and not too fast. The romance is at a great pace and feels right, not rushed, but natural with those heavy sparks which I like. I have read a lot of mini-stories since getting my , but this is by far THE BEST!! This is the first book I've read by Veronica Blade and I'm preasantly suprised that after loving the Twighlight Series, Dark Series and Ghost Walker series, I have found a new favorite!! If you havnt read it - read it, enjoy it and you too will be blessed with a lack of sleep!!
Young Adult novels aren't my usual reading choice. It's been a long, long, long time since I was a teenager or even since my children traveled that rocky road, but with SOMETHING WITCHY THIS WAY COMES Ms Blade brought that world back to life for this "old" lady.

I loved how Ms Blade used alternating first person point of view between Tessa and Hayden to tell the story and give it an immediacy for the reader. Ms Blade's writing style captures the teenage voice in a realistic way. SOMETHING WITCHY THIS WAY COMES deals with young people forced by circumstances to handle adult issues, often with greater maturity and wisdom than the actual adults in the story. And as if dealing with absentee and abusive parents, and teenaged hormones weren't enough for Tessa and Hayden to handle, they're also thrust into a war between witches and other supernatural beings that share the world with humans. Though the sexual desires of the main characters is an element in the story there's no actual sexual activity beyond some kissing, so this book is appropriate for middle teen readers.
